Trojan Academy is Tasmanias #1 premier Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai Academy in Tasmania. The Academy is located in Huntingfield near Kingston, a ten minute drive from the Hobart CBD.

Trojan Academy offers both Kids and Adults classes for females and males of all fitness levels. The Academy is a family friendly environment which boasts world class coaching and facilities.

Trojan Academy offers a state of the art facility boasting permanent mat space of (area). The Academy has a water filling area two meters from the training space. The academy has a disabled toilet access/changing room area.

There is an expansive area for car parking on the street directly outside of the academy. The Huntingfield bus terminal is less than 1 kilometre away with bus operating regularly.

Darran Petty is the head instructor/owner & founder of Trojan Academy and is a 1st degree black belt. Darran’s 1st degree Jiu Jitsu Black belt has also been fully recognised by Brazilian Jiu Jitsu legend Rickson Gracie & the JJGF Global Jiu Jitsu Federation.

Head coach Darran Petty has an extensive competition background winning State, International, Pan Pacific & International Jiu Jitsu Championships including wins over Craig Jones in the 2013 IBJJF NOGI Melbourne International via 30 second ankle lock.
